Project Team

NJFSI is a three-year (2024–2026) cross-sector, collaborative, community-centered effort to increase food security and improve nutrition to advance health equity in New Jersey. It is led by the Food Research & Action Center (FRAC), with funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF). 

FRAC improves the nutrition, health, and well-being of people struggling against poverty-related hunger in the United States through advocacy, partnerships, and by advancing bold and equitable policy solutions. For more information, visit FRAC.org.

The Center for Nutrition & Health Impact (formerly the Gretchen Swanson Center for Nutrition) is an independent nonprofit research organization providing research, evaluation, and partnership in nutrition-related programs including childhood obesity prevention, food insecurity, and local food systems. The Center is a remote team geographically dispersed throughout the U.S., with strong roots in Omaha, Nebraska. For more information on the Center, visit centerfornutrition.org.
